Narrow EscapeI had to get away from them. I didn’t care that I didn’t have the whole story. If I stayed any longer, I would lose my life. I had seen too much, heard too much, found out too much. There were still questions that were left unanswered, but I wouldn’t push my luck to stay any longer. I stumbled as I started to run away, but then I came to a dead end. I heard the footsteps come closer and I looked around wildly for something to hide behind. Just as the footsteps were turning the corner, a siren was heard.
